Papercraft Star 112

Hello there
Boy did we get a lot of rain yesterday! It never let up
I had to go out to get some supplies for this weeks project at Thursday Club .. luckily I managed to avoid the downpours as the shop I needed to go into was in a mall.

Well this morning starts a brand new challenge at Papercraft Star and we also have a brand new DT member ... You may know her by her blog Name of Three Trees ... Her real name is Deanne ... Welcome to the team Deanne!
Our featured designer this week is the lovely Jan ... using digitals from our sponsor The House Across The Bay and the DT have some beautiful projects up on the blog ... If you have a moment please take a look.
This weeks challenge is to include a bird cage on your project

... And here's my card

The green paper is from my supplies ... not sure where from ... but the background paper with the pretty flowers is from Astrid's Artistic efforts

Those little bird cages actually come on a strip to wrap around votives ... in the wedding dept at Hobbycraft ... the pretty trim is from my sweet friend Jacira

The little 3D egg sticker is by K & Co

We had some really lovely entries from you all last week and I am looking forward to seeing what you come up with this week ... I love bird cages on projects

Thanks so much for all your lovely comments and your well wishes for my Aunt ... She has finally been given a date from the hospital ... December! So I will be here until then ...

Have a beautiful day my friends

December?! That's an awfully long wait... I wish her all the best and being a Christmas maniac I hope that she's out of hospital and not in too much pain for the holidays. *** Your card is beautiful, the colorful roses somewhat surprising but a real eye-catcher!
